1. The Triune God
We believe in one true and eternal God, the Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—distinct in person, but unified in essence. He is holy, just, loving, and true, and is worthy of all worship, obedience, and adoration.
Matthew 3:16-17 “When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”
2. The Scriptures
We believe the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six canonical books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final and trustworthy foundation for all faith, life, doctrine, and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
3. Creation, Humanity, and the Fall
We believe God created all things out of nothing, declaring them good. Humans were made in God’s image—to know, enjoy, and glorify Him. Yet through sin, humanity fell from this position, becoming separated from God and subject to spiritual death and the effects of sin in the world. All are in need of salvation and cannot save themselves.
Romans 5:12 “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.”
Romans 5:18 “Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.”
4. Jesus Christ, Our Redeemer
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ—the eternal Son of God, born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, rose again on the third day, and ascended into heaven. He is now exalted at the right hand of the Father and will return in glory. Through Him alone is salvation made possible.
1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
5. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, offered by grace and received through faith in Jesus Christ. We are justified, regenerated, adopted, and sanctified through the work of the Holy Spirit. This salvation is not by works but is entirely dependent on God’s mercy and Christ’s finished work.
Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”
6. The Holy Spirit and Empowered Living
We believe in the indwelling presence and ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers for holy living, spiritual growth, and supernatural ministry that include signs, wonders and miracles. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which is accompanied by speaking in tongues as a sign, and empowers believers for bold witness and effective ministry.
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…”
Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
John 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. ‘
Acts 2:17-19 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants, I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath…”
7. The Church and Its Mission
We believe the Church is the body of Christ made up of all believers. The local church exists to glorify God, disciple nations, preach the Gospel, and undo the works of the enemy. We are called to build Christ’s Kingdom in every sphere of society, bringing light into darkness and life to the lost.
Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
John 1:4-5 “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
8. Believer’s Baptism & Communion
We affirm baptism and communion as ordinances instituted by Christ. Baptism is the outward testimony of an inward transformation, signifying identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. Communion is a sacred act of remembrance and celebration of Christ’s sacrifice.
Romans 6:4-6 “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.”
I Corinthians 11:23-26 “For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.’
9. Sanctity of Life, Marriage, and Gender
We believe all human life is sacred and made in the image of God—from conception to natural death. Marriage is a holy covenant between one man and one woman. We affirm the God-given identity of male and female and the equal dignity and worth of every person.
Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”
10. The Return of Christ
We believe in the literal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ. He will judge the living and the dead, reward the righteous, and restore all creation. Those in Christ will live eternally with Him; those who reject Him will face eternal separation.
Acts 1:11 “This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
Matthew 25:31-32 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. ‘
